Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes! Living Word Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. You will receive a comprehensive year-end giving statement by January 31st for tax purposes. Online donors receive instant email receipts after each transaction.
How do I calculate my tithe?

Can I set up recurring automatic giving?
Yes! Recurring giving is the easiest way to maintain faithful stewardship. When you create an account on our online giving portal, you can schedule automatic donations weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. You have full control and can adjust or cancel recurring gifts at any time through your donor dashboard.
What is the difference between tithes and offerings?
A tithe is the first 10% of your income that you return to God as an act of obedience and worship (Malachi 3:10). An offering is any gift given above and beyond the tithe, motivated by gratitude, a special need, or the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Both are important expressions of faithful stewardship.
How is my giving used?
Your gifts directly support our mission: biblically sound teaching, Spirit-filled worship, prayer initiatives, community outreach, discipleship programs, facility maintenance, and staff support. Approximately 89% of every dollar goes directly to ministry activities. We publish an annual financial report with full transparency and accountability.
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. While we need basic contact information to provide tax receipts, you can request that your giving remain anonymous to church leadership and staff. Simply note this preference when setting up your online account or on your offering envelope. Your privacy and discretion are always respected.
What if I have financial struggles? Should I still tithe?
We believe tithing is an act of faith and obedience, but we also recognize seasons of hardship. If you are struggling financially, we encourage you to speak with our pastoral care team for guidance and support. God honors faithful hearts, and we are here to walk with you through challenges, not place burdens on you.
